I’m sorry, I hope my comment didn’t put you off meeting her. She’s not rude or anything, it’s just like she’s not very talkative or responsive. She’s done plenty of conventions, but she doesn’t really seem to be the con type. She’ll just say hi, take the photo or sign the autograph, and that’s it. She doesn’t seem very comfortable around huge crowds of people (understandably), she always looked a little nervous and distant, but I can’t blame her, conventions tend to be overwhelming.
Anyway, my meeting with her was nice enough even though it wasn’t the most meaningful celebrity meeting I’ve ever had. Being a massive Clara Oswald fan I was more than excited just being in the same room with her, so it went well for me, and she’s really gorgeous and classy so I was really starstruck.
If you dream of meeting her you should totally go for it. In my experience you regret more not meeting a guest than meeting them even when the meeting isn’t perfect. Just be aware that she probably won’t be very talkative or do hugs and poses so you won’t be disappointed, but she’s still worth meeting ;)
