Every time I watch an episode of Doctor Who I have this scenario play in my head. Poor TARDIS always being left behind.

Well, the TARDIS does exist across all of Time and Space, and she does have an intense psychic bond with the Doctor that we don’t know quite how it works.

So it’s possible she’s always with Team TARDIS on their adventures in spirit.

Which means it’s very possible that the TARDIS spends a bit of her time internally monologuing about everyone’s poor choices.

She’d have to be with the Doctor and the companion in spirit. After all, she’s the one translating, often everything that is said during an adventure.

(In which case, I’d assume she’d be internally monologuing about poor choices, but then she stole a time lord and ran away, she’s not exactly got “reasonable” written all over her.)
